Tayba TV channel – one of the Egyptian channels broadcasting from Aswan – The channel covers the news of the Upper Egypt region. The channel is spread in all governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Through a television interview with the broadcaster of that channel, Prof./ Ahmed Hassanein – the project coordinator at Sohag University, explained that the Central Laboratory for Genetic Engineering was and still is hosting the activities of many projects funded by Egyptian or foreign parties. The project that is being implemented at the present time is a project funded by the European Union – according to the regulations of Erasmus+. The project aims to establish a professional diploma in Plant Clinic and Phytosanitary, that means the accurate identification of plant diseases and plant health. The project is being carried out in cooperation between three European universities, in addition to six Egyptian universities.
