A press release published in Al-Ahram newspaper – the largest Egyptian newspaper. It indicated that Prof. Ahmed Aziz – President of Sohag University, chaired the third coordination meeting with representatives of six Egyptian universities, namely Sohag University, Alexandria, Ain Shams, Mansoura, Suez Canal, and South Valley. The news stated that the meeting was aimed at discussing cooperation between the six universities and three European universities in Bulgaria, Hungary, and Italy to activate the activities of the “Plant Clinic and Phytosanitary” project. The news reported that the meeting was attended by the six representatives of the university, as well as Prof. Ahmed Suleiman – Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof./ Muhammad Abdel Hafeez – Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Kamal Khalil, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and a number of faculty members.
